Privacy and cookies

*This privacy policy is intended to provide information on how and why Loadmaster Inc collects and processes your personal data. Your personal data is processed in accordance with the privacy regulations in force at all times.

Disclosure of personal data - Transfer of personal data to third parties

Your personal data is treated confidentially with us and only those with an official need for us will have access to your personal data. As a general rule, we will therefore not share your personal data with anyone outside loadmaster.no, unless this is required by law (for example to public authorities and to comply with money laundering legislation).

Personal data may, however, be made available to other companies and partners, who, according to agreement with us, are responsible for personnel administration, accounting, etc., as well as for those companies who, according to agreement with us, manage the technical operation of our IT and accounting systems. When we give third parties access to personal data in this way, we ensure that these third parties comply with our requirements for the processing of personal data and applicable legislation, including confidentiality.

It may also be that in some contexts we share some of your personal data with our partners, such as banks and insurance companies. Note that we will never share your personal data with a third party without your consent, or we are obliged to do so by law (for example the Norwegian Tax Administration and NAV). We may also give third parties access to accumulated and anonymised data.

What personal data do we process?

We only process personal data that is necessary to manage your customer relationship and any supplier relationship. Information we register is, for example, name, date of birth, telephone number, email address and postal address. Receiving marketing is voluntary.

Cookies

We use cookies on our website. A cookie is a small text file and our website will always ask your browser to save the capsule on your machine. We do this so that we can remember your actions, preferences and how often you have visited our website. Furthermore, we also use cookies on our pages so that we can keep statistics on how often our websites are generally used.

• Analysis of how the websites are used by the visitors.
• Tailoring content and marketing based on how users use the website

An overview of the cookies we use can be found at the bottom of the document.

Basis for processing

The legal basis for the processing of the personal data is mainly a contract (employment contract, lease agreement, purchase/sale agreement, supplier contract, etc.). Legislation can also be a basis, for example when reporting to the Tax Agency and other public authorities. In addition to this, we will, if necessary, obtain your consent.

When using consent as a basis for processing, we will use our own consent form so that we obtain a valid consent.

Storage of the personal data and deletion

The personal information you register is stored on servers with our data processors. We ensure that your information is stored safely and satisfactorily. The reason for this is that all EU / EEA states are obliged to meet the requirements of the GDPR and thus ensure the data subject a minimum of privacy. In some cases, use is made of professional third parties who are located outside the EU / EEA for marketing purposes. In cases where personal data is registered in connection with such marketing, the processing will be based on consent.

Loadmaster deletes your personal data without undue delay when it is no longer necessary for the purpose for which it was collected. If you withdraw the consent that is the basis for the processing of the information, or you object to the processing and there are no more weighty justified reasons for the processing, we will delete your information. Note that there may be legal requirements which mean that we are nevertheless obliged to store your personal data for a certain period. We have our own specific deletion routines per processing activity.

Your rights as a registered user

You have the right to ask us for access, correction, deletion, restriction of processing and disclosure of your personal data (data portability). In addition, you can request us to end the processing of the personal data (withdraw your consent). If you request us to make use of one or more of these rights, we will comply with the request within one month of its submission, unless legal requirements require us to do otherwise. The requests can be directed to the human resources manager or IT operations manager. If you believe that we have broken the privacy regulations, you have the opportunity to complain to the Norwegian Data Protection Authority.

If more information about our processing of personal data is desired, we can be contacted post@loadmaster.no.

Changes to this privacy policy

Loadmaster may revise this privacy policy when the processing of personal data changes or when revision is necessary due to changes in applicable legislation. When we make changes to this statement, we will change the revision date at the top of this page, and the changed privacy statement will take effect from the last revision date.
